Jurnal Ada Pustaka: Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajaran is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity of the editorial and peer-review process. The journal adheres to the principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—to comply with these ethical standards.

All submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity checking using plagiarism detection software before or during the peer-review process to ensure originality and academic integrity.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal Ada Pustaka: Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajaran are expected to observe the following ethical principles:

  • Submit only original manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by another journal.
  • Ensure that all data presented are accurate, authentic, and honestly reported without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in the manuscript.
  • Ensure that all listed authors have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research and approve the final version before submission.

  • Promptly notify the editor if a significant error is identified in a published article and cooperate in issuing corrections or retractions when necessary.
  • Obtain ethical approval and informed consent where research involves human participants, animals, or sensitive data, where applicable.

Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Ada Pustaka: Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajaran has zero tolerance for plagiarism in any form. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text without proper citation.
  • Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication.
  • Unauthorized use of ideas, figures, tables, or research findings.
  • Improper paraphrasing without appropriate acknowledgment.

Conflict of Interest

Ethical Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

Peer reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the scientific quality of published articles. Reviewers are expected to:

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and solely on academic merit.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all submitted manuscripts.

Editors are responsible for ensuring a transparent, impartial, and efficient editorial process. Editors shall:

  • Make publication decisions based exclusively on the scholarly merit, originality, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts.
  • Evaluate manuscripts without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political beliefs, institutional affiliation, or other personal characteristics.
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
  • Ensure that every manuscript undergoes a fair and unbiased double-blind peer-review process.
  • Reject manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope or fail to meet academic and ethical standards.

  • Refrain from using unpublished materials contained in submitted manuscripts without the explicit written consent of the authors.

The publisher is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record, supporting ethical publishing practices, preserving published content, and collaborating with editors to investigate allegations of research misconduct when necessary.

Research Misconduct

The journal considers the following actions to constitute research misconduct:

  • Plagiarism.
  • Data fabrication or falsification.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication.
